Jeff Yost Wins Tacoma`s Sniper King July 2011
Twice a year the Puget Sound shooters get to bring out the big guns for registered NBRSA competition. I`m talking about the holy grail of centerfire benchrest shooting. Unlimited class...
aka
The Rail Guns.
These return to battery machine rests are simply amazing to see in action. I believe everyone is shooting the 6ppc, and the results are .... just pretty damn cool.
Larry Boers wins the 2011 NW Heavy Varmint / Unlimited Regional
On June 6th, 2011 Tacoma Rifle and Revolver held their 3rd match of the year. This 2 day contest would determine the winner of the NW Regional for the Heavy Varmint and 5 shot Unlimited Class. Saturday brought the windy conditions of springtime in the Northwest. Saturday was very switchy, with difficult to read conditions. We began with our Sporter contest at 100 yards on Saturday morning which was won by Larry Boers with a .2212 agg. On April 2, 2011 Tacoma Rifle and Revolver held their first match of the year. This contest would determine the winner of the Allen Bench trophy. Saturday brought conditions not too typical for us here in the Northwest. Saturday was pretty windy and very switchy. We began with our light varmint contest at 100 yards on Saturday morning which was won by Rick Graham with a .2004 agg. That afternoon at 200, Rick again showed his wind reading abilities on bench #1 and won the yardage and the grand aggregate.

Tony Boyer Visits Seattle, August 2010
It

Seattle. On a Wednesday evening in August, I had the opportunity to sit
down with Tony and Faye Boyer and discuss my favorite subjuct,
Benchrest. Tony has just released a new book called "The Book of Rifle
Accuracy" They were in Seattle for a few days visiting with Mustafa
